Website Publishing

Just to confirm this site is in the early stages of construction - I've got thousands of pics to look through!

Welcome!

Welcome to my first real site, I have played about on the net for many years, even tried building my own site 6 or 7 years ago, without much success (couldn't get it to upload to the server!) and more recently with blogs etc.  Work stopped on that when we decided to build a conservatory on the side of the house in April 2006!  However, as I am now writing this in said conservatory, I may have a little more time to spend with my laptop on well, my lap!

This is really only a vehicle to publish some of my pictures some old, some new from all of the various cameras I have owned, and still own in many cases! I may even be able to find some black and white ones taken in the 1960s as a child with my grandfathers Box Brownie - the shutter "release" was a lever that moved approx 30mm! - on through a Kodak Instamatic 33 - a Rolli 35mm which the focusing ring fell off, making a mess of the most thorough preparations! Then came my pride and joy, a Pentax 110 Auto kit which I had for 20 years or more, eventually consisting of 2 bodies about 8 lenses and a whole load of other bits.

In this time I also used several disposable waterproof cameras, so there will probably be some of their products eventually here.  By 2002 I was ready for the digital age - I know hardly at the forefront of the new age, but I liked my Pentax! Also it was getting difficult to get good quality 100 asa 110 film.

Anyway I now use a Fuji S302 and Nokia N70, and I still take all sorts of pics for all sorts of reasons or none at all! So if you can't make sense of some of them or understand why I took it, you're probably not alone. I will try to give some sort of explanation or location detail, IF I can remember!

I hope you like some, all or just one of them, but I like taking pics and showing them!
